Jo Bellucci – Vice President, Actuary Recruiting
Jo is a former employee of the University of New Hampshire, where she also earned her degree. After raising her family, she later worked as a channel marketing trainer for a computer software/hardware manufacturer, sales for wide format printers and consumables; then channel marketing for an electric utility, during industry deregulation.
This journey led her to actuarial recruiting, where the combination of sales, marketing and technical knowledge served her well. She served at Stewart Search for over a decade, placing Actuaries from entry level to Chief Actuary. After a recent two-year stint placing engineers, she returned to Stewart Search to work with Ry Ward and his team recruiting and placing actuaries.
Jo enjoys assisting companies to fill openings with great candidates and helping actuaries meet their goals. A consummate professional, Jo’s strength is working with individual actuaries to understand their individual goals and ambitions. She values the inherent trust placed in her to bring a qualified candidate for review by the company and meeting the unique needs of each candidate.
A native Vermonter, she now claims New Hampshire as her home. She and her husband Stephen live in a reproduction post and beam colonial they built from the ground up among prized gardens, orchards and abundant wildlife. Jo is a self-taught chef and enjoys cooking for extended family and friends in her beautiful gourmet kitchen. She is a proud mother to 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
